Dear Member, The Course Superintendent at Kalgoorlie Golf Course has declared the back nine unplayable due to recent heavy rain. He has also advised that motorized carts will not be allowed on the course until further notice. A further inspection of the front nine tomorrow will determine whether the front nine will be open to walk traffic only. In light of the above, the Match Committee of Goldfields Golf Club will delay all competitions until Saturday 11th September 2010. The Johnex Trophy Day set down for Saturday 4^th September 2010 will be rescheduled to a date to be advised. Sweepstakes competition for Sunday 5^th September, Ladies Competition on Wednesday 8^th September 2010 and Scroungers Competition on Thursday 9^th September have been abandoned. If you wish to play front nine on Saturday 4^th September 2010 or Sunday 5^th September 2010, you will have to re-book with Pro-shop. Bookings for Saturday 11^th September 2010 (VM Drilling Combined Par – Post Match Draw) and Sunday 12 ^th September 2010 (Styleline Stableford) will commence on Friday 3 ^rd September 2010. Members without official Australian handicaps will be allowed in these fields to enable them to obtain handicaps as soon as possible. Kalgoorlie Golf Club - Last Hurrah Saturday 6^th November, 2010 Golf - Dinner - Drinks - Entertainment Golf format will be a four-person ambrose in any combination followed by a dinner and entertainment to farewell our home of the last 111 years. Further details to follow.
The Goldfields Golf Club is the result of the eventual amalgamation of Kalgoorlie-Boulder's three existing golf clubs and their assets in preparation for the upcoming move on to the new grass golf course due in the second half of 2010.
Any one, subject to acceptance by the Board of Directors, is eligible to become a Goldfields Golf Club Member.

Foundation Members will be entitled to considerable savings on their annual membership fees. These savings are anticipated to be at least $500 and maybe $1000 per year on your annual subscriptions for life.
Members privileges include:
free access to the golf course at anytime subject to available time slots reduced bar prices in members bar first access to timeslots outside competition times entitled to play in competitions organised by Goldfields Golf Club

At present it costs $500 (GST inclusive) to nominate for Ordinary Membership and $100 (GST inclusive) to nominate for Junior Ordinary Membership. The annual membership fee is $1650 (GST inclusive) and $330 (GST inclusive) respectively. Fees for new members are levied on a pro rata basis..
